The 130-metre plus motor yacht puzzle that is taking shape at Lloyd Werft in Bremerhaven, Germany now nearly has all its pieces joined with the final stern section of Project Solaris underway to its final assembly hall. The unique location of the facilities allows us to get an inside look into one of the world’s largest yacht being put together, something that ordinarily takes place under cover. The new 70-metre-long aft section of the vessel is already fitted with engines that will power the ship as well as its two rotating azimuth propulsion pods. Delivery of this massive explorer-style vessel is predicted to take place sometime during 2020.
