140m+ Lürssen superyacht Redwood on the move

Lürssen was seen moving its new 140-metre plus superyacht project known as Redwood into its assembly shed yesterday allowing us a first glimpse of this colossal new motor yacht. Due for completion next year, Redwood is the design work of Nuvolari Lenard, the same studio who recently signed the 116-metre new-build project Testarossa together with the German shipyard and Moran Yacht & Ship.Lürssen Project Redwood under constructionPhoto: Philipp GonschorekLürssen Project Redwood under constructionPhoto: Philipp Gonschorek

Just some of the exterior features will include two helicopter landing pads, a large sports and diving centre on the lower deck as well as an oversized, partially-covered swimming pool. The project is being overseen by Moran Yacht & Ship and is currently under construction at Lürssen’s shipyard in Bremen according to the Passenger Yacht Code.Redwood project LürssenLürssen Project Redwood under constructionPhoto: Philipp GonschorekLürssen Project Redwood under constructionPhoto: Philipp GonschorekLürssen Project Redwood under constructionPhoto: Philipp GonschorekLürssen Project Redwood under constructionPhoto: Philipp GonschorekLürssen Project Redwood under constructionPhoto: Philipp Gonschorek
