Last Saturday in Viareggio, Sanlorenzo launched its 14th unit of the successful SD112 superyacht range. The vessel was christened Kia Ora in the presence of her owner, shipyard team, and Sanlorenzo Spain, who sold the yacht to the client in 2016.
The high-volume tri-deck motor yacht was designed by Francesco Paszkowksi and the custom interior is by the hand of the Citterio Viel; Sanlorenzo’s second collaboration with the Milanese studio. Inside, there is accommodation for up to 10 guests across five cabins along with crew quarters for a company of six.
Planning to use the yacht for extensive cruising, Kia Ora’s owner fitted the yacht with two MTU M72 engines that deliver a maximum range of 2,600 nm at 11 knots thanks to a fuel capacity of 25,000 litres.
Delivery of the yacht is expected to take place in early 2018 where after Kia Ora will cruise to the island of Mallorca where her home berth is located.
