Auckland, the ‘City of Sails’ holds the inaugural Superyacht Captains Forum, on 15 – 16 September 2011. Delivered by a mix of world-class experts, this event’s programme focuses predominantly on two areas - navigating your superyacht to and cruising in the South Pacific (including Australia, Fiji, New Zealand, Tahiti and Tonga), as well as executive level up-skilling for Superyacht Captains.
The social programme includes The Superyacht Report welcome cocktail function, Forum Dinner at Auckland party-central’s ‘The Cloud’ and ends with a deciding match race on the 11-strong MRX fleet.
Coinciding with Rugby World Cup 2011 (September – October), NZ Marine National Yard tours (also September – October), the Auckland International Boat Show (15 – 18 September) and the International Boatbuilding Competition (17 September), the Forum will be held during a busy and festive time for New Zealand’s marine industry, providing unmatched networking opportunities.
