Hanseat IV was built in 2001 by Austral Yachts and designed by Bill Dixon Yacht Design Studio.
The superyacht is a comfortable, easy to handle, safe and well performing sloop built according to the highest standards in respect to construction, materials and equipment. Germanischer Lloyd attested her to the highest class for hull, materials, engine spaces and mast/rigging.
She has an extremely rigid hull construction with a 45 mm red cedar core and a multiple inner and outer layer of epoxy GRP was chosen. The outer layer was additionally fitted with 1.5mm layers of Kevlar for improved impact resistance. She has a cruising speed at economical consumption of around 9.5 kn. Her 3900 litres of fuel give a considerable range under engine of about 2500 nm.
Hanseat IV was sold by Haas Yachting in conjunction with Northrop & Johnson.
