Alessandrini Letizia has send us the designs of the Ithaca 80’, designed "from the desire to design a boat with comfortable spaces both indoors and outdoors, while maintaining a sporty and appealing line".
The alternation of smooth lines and edges has made the profile of the catamaran thin despite its width, which gives it a strong characterization. To emphasize this feature navy blue for the aft part, the flybridge and the rest of the hull and black for the side pillars to support the flybridge and the top were used. The deck is separated on two levels which permits to lessen the generous dimensions of the superstructure and create a dynamic line.
The search for a modern line wasn’t made at the expense of comfort and contact with the sea. The boat can accommodate up to 8 guests in every area. The maindeck has a spectacular panoramic view thanks to the large windows that surround it.
The cockpit has been converted into a lounge area. The garage is located at the stern of the link structure. There are two mirror sofas, a large sunbathing area and a kitchen area in the flybridge. The top of the flybridge has a canopy to repair the cockpit area and the central part of photovoltaic glass allows to gain 1350-1950 W. On the bow there is another huge living area with two sofas with coffee tables and a sunbathing area that can be turned into a hot tub.
The lounge/dining area in the main deck is bright and open. It is modern and refined, with a simple luxury and without losing functionality. For a more efficient communication with the kitchen, there’s a dumbwaiter, which is also a piece of furniture. The cabin is located in a raised position inside the deckhouse. This has been incorporated into the design of the catamaran and has a sharp line of Stealth inspiration.
The cabin is located in a central position in the main deck to enjoy the amazing windows of the superstructure. The bathroom is divided by function and the shower has a couch to relax with a Turkish bath.
In the lower deck there are three double cabins for guests and the crew area. The catamaran has been designed according to the standards for charter not to limit the type of use.
Ithaca can reach up to 25 kn top speed and has a shaft line with v-drive transmission to limit the size of the engine room.
