The investment aligns perfectly with our strategy to expand our capabilities, not only in project management but also in engineering. Currently, we employ around 70 engineers and project managers. With this acquisition, we will add 11 highly experienced employees to our team. This specialisation allows for mutual learning; refit teams learn from the new-build teams’ structured approaches, while new-build teams gain flexibility from the refit teams.Our workplace culture is highly transparent and collaborative, resembling a large family of project managers and engineers. This uniqueness makes each project demanding yet remarkably rewarding.What can you share regarding plans for the future?Currently, we have about 350 employees in three locations in two countries with nearly 12,000- metre squared production space, and our focus is on maintaining our revenue without overly expanding our size. The Technical Manager works closely with the Chief Engineer and Chief Officer to review and plan maintenance onboard and other technical matters, and the Account Manager compiles all the yacht’s running costs and creates realistic budgets for the upcoming year in close collaboration with the Yacht Manager and heads of department (HODs). A statement made by Jordan’s family on Thursday morning revealed that he had passed away in his Cape Town home following a cancer diagnosis in December 2024. Salvatore Canzoneri has shared the renderings and details of Kossyra, a 67-metre island-inspired superyacht concept. The up-and-coming yacht designer made it to the finals of the Young Designer of the Year 2024 awards, in partnership with <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/29" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Feadship (Company)">Feadship</a>, with his design. <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/353182/image/large-cb1914a21320cc52b4ab8cc0a2f7712e.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/353182">Described by her designer as “a floating sanctuary that captures the essence of the Mediterranean,” Kossyra is christened after the Pantelleria, an island in Italy formerly known as Cossyra.
