25m Sunseeker 82 yacht Time Out catches fire in Queensland, Australia

A 25-metre Sunseeker 82 yacht has caught fire on Hamilton Island marina in Queensland, Australia. The Sunseeker motor yacht is believed to be the 2003 motor yacht Time Out. The fire lasted for around five hours, with efforts to extinguish the flames hindered by windy conditions.Time Out Yacht firePhoto: 9 News QueenslandLocal news company 9 News reports that Queensland Ambulance were called at 10:44am to the marina based in the Whitsundays area, but a spokesperson said nobody was injured. Police say that no one was onboard when the fire broke out but according to ABC News a man in his 40s and a man in his 60s have been assessed for smoke inhalation.Time Out Yacht firePhoto: 9 News QueenslandA spokesperson from the Queensland Police Service said that officers traveled from Airlie Beach to attend to the fire. The cause of the fire is still unknown, and investigations are still ongoing, as local emergency services work to prevent any pollution from spreading around the site of the fire.
