The 28.95-metre sailing yacht Maya Ray, listed for sale with Northrop & Johnson, has been sold. Sales Brokers Michael Nethersole and Simon Turner represented the seller.
Built in 2000 by Southern Wind Shipyard in South Africa, this sloop features a composite architecture by the Farr Yacht Design studio, who aimed to develop a vessel which offered guests a fast but comfortable ride on the ocean.

Able to accommodate up to eight guests across two queen-bed staterooms, a single-bed stateroom with a Pullman and a master cabin, the latter features an ensuite bathroom with a private shower. The wheelhouse offers a panoramic view of the ocean and a navigation station and an additional cabin can host up to five crew members.
Maya Ray has only had one previous owner who took exceptional care of her and refitted her in 2015 with a new paint job, rigging and mechanical systems.
The asking price for Maya Ray at her time of sale was $1,990,000.
