Built for a South American client, Cantiere delle Marche have launched the second hull in their Darwin Class 102 line a few days ago. Babbo measures 31.9 metres and comprises of a 244 GT volume. The yacht will be officially presented at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival.
Her interiors are a collaboration between the South American designer Simon Hamui on behalf of the owner, and the PFA studio from Fano. Great attention has been paid to the storage of toys and tenders on board, with dedicated space in the 25 sqm garage as well as the aft platform and upper deck, in which tenders of 5 metres and 6.30 metres will be stored respectively.
"We are incredibly pleased with the results achieved this time as well: the quality of our Explorer Yachts increases launch after launch and this, together with respecting - once again - the contractual schedule, makes us very proud," said Vasco Buonpensiere, Commercial Director of the shipyard.
Four units of the Darwin 102 Class have already been sold, with hulls three and four currently under construction.
