Strong headway has been made in Amsterdam with the forthcoming <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/6736" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Dutch Superyacht Tech Campus (Company)">Dutch Superyacht Tech Campus</a>, as construction moves forward. The first phase of the quay is being built and the process of making 22 hectares of extra land is still ongoing but taking shape quickly.&nbsp;The team will enter phase two, building docks one, two and three next month, with completion expected by June 2023. It will also have four docks for yachts up to 200-metres in length and three for those up to 155-metres.&nbsp;An additional 40 mooring points will be available and 25 refit spots on shore, which will be serviced by a lift capable of carrying 80-metre yachts.

The course aims to create real career opportunities for participants, such as naval carpentry, deck fitting, engine mechanics, the list goes on.The first edition of the three-month course officially launched in March, and will be held at the “Don Bosco” Professional Training Centre in Forlì. After this first stage in Forlì, the Scuola dei Mestieri will move to Mondolfo and Sarnico in September to involve more young people in the new project.
