34m yacht Independence 3 finds new owner

After just two months on the market, the 33.83-metre yacht Independence 3 has been sold. Negotiations were headed by John Slate of Northrop & Johnson who represented the seller and Raymond Young of RJC Yacht Sales & Charter who brought the buyer.Independence 3 yacht at anchorIndependence 3 was delivered in 1997 by Florida-based shipbuilder, Broward Marine, and has since been regularly maintained, including an extensive refit in 2017. Her refit was supervised by Patrick Knowles Designs, who also penned her original interiors. Independence 3’s exterior styling and naval architecture was completed in-house by her builder, Broward Marine.

The yacht accommodates as many as 12 guests across four staterooms, including a spacious full-beam master suite situated on the main deck forward. The owner's accommodation is finished with his-and-hers ensuite bathrooms. Independence 3 was asking $1,690,000 at the time of her sale.
