37m Benetti superyacht Mamma Mia finds a new owner

The 36.6-metre superyacht Mamma Mia has been sold. The deal was concluded by Fernando Nicholson of Camper & Nicholsons International who represented the seller and Jim McConville of Allied Marine who brought in the buyer.Mamma Mia was built in 2007 by Benetti as part of the Benetti Classic 37 series of which more than 20 units were built. Stefano Righini Design took the reins on her exterior design while Benetti completed the naval architecture of the all-GRP.Photo: Benoit DonneShe accommodates as many as 12 guests in five staterooms across her three decks. Zuretti Interior Design completed the 299 GT yacht’s interior, which is finished with neutral tones contrasted against dark mahogany wood and marble finishes.On deck, Mamma Miahas plenty of alfresco lounge and dining space. Her partially enclosed bridge deck is home to a seating and dining area with additional table space to accommodate a buffet set up. A bar, a Jacuzzi, a bimini and umbrellas are found on her sun deck.Mamma Mia stores her 4.5-metre Williams jet tender in her tender garage situated at her transom. In terms of performance, she sports two MTU 12V 2000 M91 diesel engines which propel her to a top speed of 16 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots.

She was asking $5,600,000 at the time of her sale.
