John Cohen of Merle Wood & Associates and Performance Boats representing the seller and Neil Emmott of Superyacht Sales & Charter, assisted by Duncan Bray, representing the buyer. Refitted in Viareggio only seven months after she was delivered to her owner, the RINA-class yacht Gitana is a Benetti Classic Supreme 132 model built in 2017 to naval architecture by Benetti, exterior design by Stefano Righini and interior design by the Italian shipyard’s in-house team. Up to 10 guests can be accommodated on board Gitana in five staterooms designed for comfort and entertainment with room for up to seven crew in four cabins. Among yacht Gitana’s amenities are a Jacuzzi and a variety of toys and tenders.With her twin MTU 12V 2000 M72 engines, Gitana cruises comfortably at 12 knots and can reach a top speed of 16 knots. At her most economical speed of 11 knots, Gitana has a range of 3,400 nautical miles.
