Sanlorenzo has announced that the first five units of the 44.5-metre 44Alloy range are under construction at their La Spezia shipyard, with the first unit to be delivered in spring 2020. The fifth unit was confirmed as being sold to a European client in mid-December 2019 and will be delivered in May 2021. The yacht’s exterior, created by Zuccon International Project, are based on the successful 40Alloy, of which 10 units have been delivered in the last nine years. The layout allocates 105 square metres to the beach club and swimming platform which is located nearby the lateral garage that houses a seven-metre tender. An additional rescue boat and toys are stored in the bow garage. Up to 10 guests can make use of the generous sky lounge on the upper deck and be accommodated overnight across five staterooms, including the owner’s suite that covers three levels. Spread over almost 70 square metres, the owner’s suite includes a lobby and private lounge area which can be adapted to become a gym, and a private accessway to the forward deck. The range of sub-500 GT superyachts is being built in light alloy aluminium to MCA/LY3 regulations. Owners are able to customise the model by increasing the capacity plan, the yacht’s range and upgrading the main engines.
