Sold: Bloemsma & van Breemen’s 44m motor yacht Arete
The 43.9-metre motor yacht Arete, built by Bloemsma & van Breemen, has been sold. Burgess acted as the central agent during these negotiations and represented both the buyer and seller.Arete was launched in 2013 under her maiden name, BVB44M. She features styling inside and out by Pieter Beeldsnijder Design, while her naval architecture was penned by Vripack. Since her launch she has undergone numerous refits, her most recent took place in Fort Lauderdale last year.
Pieter Beeldsnijder Design kitted her out in light wood paneling throughout, giving her a light, breezy and very nautical feel. There is a great consistency of the theme, as every one of her three decks is decorated in unison. She can accommodate up to 12 guests across five staterooms, comprising four guest suites and a master area.
Some of her standout features include a spacious main saloon, equipped with a full bar and conjoined to a bountiful dining area. To aft more catering options are available, as Arete has a large dining table where up to 10 guests can whittle away the evening while dining alfresco.
Her sun deck is another location for guests to indulge, as multiple sunpads and a Jacuzzi are located there.
In terms of performance, Arete has an impressive 5,250 nautical mile range when cruising at 12.5 knots. She is capable of hitting speeds of up to 15.8 knots when desired.
Arete was sold with a last known asking price of €15,900,000 after being on the market for 227 days.
