Lürssen handled the naval architecture of the steel-hulled displacement style superyacht and collaborated with Gerhard Gilgenast on the exteriors. Following a refit at the Nobiskrug yard in Rendsburg in 2002, her Silvestrin Design interiors were refreshed.

Power for the superyacht comes by way of twin CAT 3508B engines. With a combined 1712 hp, the engines are low emissions certified and enable Ontario a 7000 nm global cruising range at 14 knots.

At the time of sale, the asking price for Ontario was €7,950,000
