47m Feadship superyacht Excellence finds new owner

The 46.63-metre superyacht Excellence has been sold after almost two years on the market. Negotiations were concluded by Alejandro Javier Navarro of HMY Yacht Sales alongside Merle A. Wood and John Cohen of Merle Wood & Associates.Excellence yachtExcellence was built in 2001 by Feadship to an exterior design by De Voogt Naval Architects, who also completed her naval architecture. She was meticulously maintained and underwent an extensive refit in 2019, which included a full paint job and an updated audio-visual system.Excellence yacht saloonExcellence yacht aft deckThe 516 GT superyacht’s original interior is the work of John Munford Design. As many as 10 guests can be accommodated across four staterooms, comprising a full-beam master, a double, and two twins with two Pullmans. Excellence is operated by a crew of 10.Excellence yacht staterromPerformance-wise, Excellence sports twin MTU 16V 4000 M90 diesel engines and a Vericor TF 50 gas turbine, which propel her to an impressive top speed of 34 knots and a cruising speed of 21 knots.Sea Racer yachtAt the time of her sale, Excellence was asking $14,995,000.
