Sanlorenzo’s 47m motor yacht Drifter W sold

Sanlorenzo’s 47.2-metre motor yacht Drifter W sold in Italy. Bill Thiem and Harry Peralta of Globe Regal Yachting introduced the buyer to Drifter W, while it was Giorgio Passarella of Nautor’s Swan Brokerage and Mediterranean Yacht Management who represented the seller.Drifter W was launched last year and features an exterior design penned by Francesco Paszkowski and naval architecture drawn up by her yacht builder. She’s part of Sanlorenzo’s EXP series, and with her extended aft deck – large enough for a small touch-and-go helipad – she’s distinctively a unit from the 500 EXP line. Space is a key characteristic of the 500 EXP series and Drifter W offers it in abundance for guests and toys. She has an interior volume of 496 GT and can accommodate as many as 12 guests, across five staterooms. Her central tender storage is her garage aft, which is large enough to stow vessels up to seven meters in length. When deployed the space significantly bolsters the beach club, providing even more room for leisurely activities. She can also carry up to nine crew.Drifter W draws power from twin CAT engines and can cruise at 13 knots, and her top speed is 15 knots. She can be managed by as many as nine onboard crew members, who’ll reside in one of her five crew cabins.
