<a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/201" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="ISA Yachts (Company)">ISA Yachts</a> announced today that is has started work on a brand new performance yacht together with <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/4335" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Marco Casali Too Design (Company)">Too Design’s</a> Marco Casali that is set to be unveiled in 2020. The ISA Super Sportivo 100 GTO will be powered by three 2000 hp engines to push the yacht to a top speed of 50 knots. <img src="/uploads/store/photo/86848/image/large-2bdd91a3f561732dd6d3bf7237e2246a.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/86848">To be constructed at Palumbo Superyachts’ yard in Ancona, the yacht’s hull and superstructure will be built using an epoxy-based vinylester resin with carbon fibre and Kevlar reinforcements.&nbsp;"[The project] stems from the idea of creating a boat that would exalt the values of sportiness and seaworthiness typical of an open boat," comments <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/4335" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Marco Casali Too Design (Company)">Casali</a>. The Super Sportivo 100 GTO comes with various interior layout option with arrangements ranging from three to five cabins and two crew quarters.The first unit in this exciting new range has already been sold to a European client and ISA suggests that there could well soon be different models to look forward to, with Palumbo CEO, Giuseppe Palumbo commenting: "We strongly believe in this ISA Super Sportivo line and we are very pleased to start building this first model that we are positive it will be a great success."

Produced by UK-based Insensys, the system is based on three rotating carbon fibre masts capable of deploying up to 2,396 square-metres of sail.
