The Genoa International Boat Show continues to reorganise itself in an aim of once again taking the title of the European pleasure boat Show of reference. As part of the several goals of the relaunch, organisers are working hard to promote an international feel to the show. In a bid to showcase Genoa as an ideal location in the centre of the Mediterranean, major international buyers will enjoy a special area designed specifically for holding customised meetings.

Among the changes, the show will last one day longer than previous shows in order to meet the operators’ demands. The heart of the show will be based near to the sea so that sea trials can be easily performed and several other boats can be put into the water, bringing the advantage of more attractive views and lower costs.

Great attention will be focused on the world of sailing in a new spot, the Sailing World. A substantial area will include the entire inner dockyard that allows the exposure of up to 120 boats in the water and more than 6,000 square meters of space on the ground, along the docks and under the tensile structures. Another new spot will be the Food and Beverage Court, where leading players in this sector will offer the best Made in Italy wine and food.
