Alia Yachts signs 55m new build project Al Waab II
Turkish yacht builder Alia Yachts and Dutch design firm Vripack have teamed up on a new-build project in Antalya where the construction of a new 55-metre superyacht, project Al Waab II, will get underway. Vripack is responsible for the design and engineering of the entire project while the Arabian-based SF Yachts coordinated the development on behalf of the owner.
Delivery of the sub-500 GT superyacht is estimated to take place in the summer of 2021. “I am very pleased to be part of this 55m yacht project and look forward to building it alongside Vripack and Alia Yachts shipyard,” says Francesco Pitea, CEO of SF Yachts.
More detailed information about this project will be revealed at next month’s Monaco Yacht Show where Alia’s flagship, the 60-metre Samurai, will also be on display.
