Following her launch in April at Damen Yachting’s shipyard in Antalya, Turkey, the 55.5-metre support motor yacht Time Off has arrived at the shipbuilders main facility in Vlissingen, the Netherlands.The support yacht, which is currently for sale, is now available for immediate delivery. She is the ninth yacht support vessel from the builders popular 7S 5009 series and their 17th support vessel. Her predecessor, Gene Chaser, was delivered in 2020 and is now used as a floating scientific research centre supporting the Amels 180 Gene Machine. Like Gene Chaser, Time Off features a main deck hanger with options for submersible storage, vehicle garage or workshop facilities. Time Off also features a modified accommodation layout for as many as seven guests alongside four staff and crew. To aft, the motor yacht has a 50 square-metre platform that can be accessed via the swim platform and can be tailored to her owners needs. For example, it could be used as an additional storage area, laboratory area or dive centre. Time Off has a top speed of 22 knots and has a 5,000 nautical miles range at her cruising speed of 16 knots.
