Bury Design unveils 57m trimaran concept Global Explorer

Australian design firm Bury Design has unveiled its latest concept superyacht, the 57.18-metre Global Explorer. Stabilised by its trimaran hull configuration, the superyacht is able to cruise at 18 knots for a range of 6,000 nautical miles.57m trimaran concept yacht Global ExplorerThe trimaran configuration increases the yacht’s efficiency of fuel consumption as well as provides a stable ride, allowing for true explorer capabilities such as arctic exploration or ocean crossings. The Global Explorer’s central hull contains her propulsion systems while her outer hulls provide stability as well as minimal roll.57m trimaran concept yacht Global ExplorerA touch-and-go helipad can be integrated to the yacht’s aft deck, where tenders, water toys, and a submarine can be stored and launched. The vessel can accommodate research and exploration operations as it is rated with engineered hard patches allowing for specialised lifting equipment and containerised hardware.
