Following her rollout from her shed yesterday in Vollenhove, the Netherlands, the 58.5-metre superyacht Phi has been launched. Yesterday, we shared a first glimpse of the superyacht out of her shed as she prepared to touch the water today. Phi’s curved sleek exterior lines are the design work of Cor D. Rover, who worked closely with her owner to create an aesthetic inspired by a menacing cobra. Her still secret interiors were penned by London-based design studio Lawson Robb while her naval architecture is from the boards of Van Oossanen Naval Architects. Her specially developed Fast Displacement XL hull form allows the yacht to be long and sleek yet still remain under the 500 GT mark.Phi’s delivery is due later this year where she will be accompanied by her support vessel, Alia Yachts’ 36-metre Phi Phantom.Photo: Charl van Rooy / SuperYacht Times
