With both exteriors and interiors from the drawing boards of the London-based studio <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/69" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Winch Design (Company)">Winch Design</a>, the 67-metre steel fast-displacement full form (FDHF) yacht was first presented as <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Article/47665" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="MYS 2017: Heesen Yachts unveil Winch and Denn designed projects (2017-09-27 10:15:00 +0200)">Project Avanti</a> at the<a href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Monaco Yacht Show - 2017">&nbsp;2017 Monaco Yacht Show.</a><img src="/uploads/store/photo/102128/image/large-a31b1931c9405374d9fce7811a7a0259.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/102128">The new owner of Project Sparta&nbsp;(hull number YN 20067) is an experienced charterer and "fell in love with [her] dynamic architecture"&nbsp;according to the shipyard. <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/4561" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Arcon Yachts (Company)">Arcon Yachts</a> has been appointed by the owner as project manager for the vessel.&nbsp;In terms of design, Sparta's elegant sheer line connects a strong bow to an inviting transom which has a stepped aft deck area equipped with a five-metre infinity pool. The incorporation of a raised pilothouse gives the vessel a sporty profile and she is able to reach a top speed of 16 knots which is aided by her efficient FDHF devised by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/460" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Van Oossanen Naval Architects (Company)">Van Oossanen Naval Architects.&nbsp;</a>Sparta&nbsp;has 1,200 GT of interior volume and accommodates her guests across a full-beam main saloon and four additional guest suites located on the main deck. Thanks to the presence of a sliding partition, the two forward cabins can be transformed into a luxury full-beam VIP suite. Guests will be looked after by a crew of up to fifteen and a nanny.On board, the indoor dining area connects seamlessly to the aft deck terrace which is protected on both sides, with all three decks serviced by a glass elevator located in an off-centre spiral staircase.&nbsp;On the lower deck, a walk-in wellness area can be found featuring an oval Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and gymnasium. The owner's quarters encompass the entire bridge deck: one suite is located forward - containing its own private, outdoor lounge - and one faces aft with access to a private terrace for outdoor lounging and dining. In addition, a Jacuzzi with bar and sun pads provides the focal point of the sundeck.&nbsp;A shell door located on the port side enables easy provisioning to the vessel, with her tenders and toys located in the forward garage.&nbsp;With her delivery date set for 2023, project Sparta&nbsp;is the third new project sale for the Dutch yard this year, following in the footsteps of projects SkyFall&nbsp;and Castor,&nbsp;whose sales were announced in <a href="https://www.superyachttimes.com/yacht-news/59m-heesen-project-skyfall-sold" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="">September</a> and <a href="https://www.superyachttimes.com/yacht-news/project-castor-sold" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="">May&nbsp;</a>respectively.&nbsp;

The superyacht Opal&nbsp;is christened after a gemstone, particularly one that is associated with protective forces, bringing about positivity and optimism. <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/330010/image/large-12910e892c203f8f0f122e25e301c33c.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/330010">Project Opal makes use of Dutch designer <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/102" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Mulder Design (Company)">Mulder'</a>s high-speed cruising hull, intended to offer either efficiency or to exceed hull speed by as much as 30 percent, depending on the engine package selected by clients. These bulwarks not only improve vision for the bridge wing stations up &nbsp;top, but also make for an extended deck area around the owner’s suite, which is positioned forward on the upper deck.&nbsp;The yacht's provisional general arrangement also displays a guest Sky Lounge aft, which has the potential to be replaced by a large private owner area that occupies the entire upper deck, complete with large aft deck and forward cockpit lounge.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/330014/image/large-ccae68c8ce3d8ae57592a82bf6a8814f.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/330014">Meanwhile, this arrangement sees a lower deck primarily dedicated to the crew and crew cabins, main galley, and technical aspects of the vessel. On the main deck forward, six guest double staterooms with elevated sea views can be found.Moving to the main deck aft, guests are welcomed by a saloon and dining area that lead to a multi-zone aft deck with a bar, opportunities for alfresco dining, and an aft lounge area. The top deck is home to the wheelhouse and the captain’s cabin as well as an aft sundeck &nbsp;area. Designed in dark tones like anthracite grey or black, the yacht exudes sophistication and strength. 60m superyacht Rock.It in Croatia

The 60m superyacht Rock.It, built by Feadship in 2014, is seen anchored here in Primosten, Croatia. 

Semar (Serveis Marítims Port Eivissa) has teamed up with <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/6623" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Ocibar (Company)">Ocibar</a> to renovate the yacht facility formerly known as La Marina de Valencia, converting it into Marina Port Valencia.&nbsp;Located in the northern part of the Port of Valencia, this project is being facilitated by two groups that specialise in benchmark yachting projects in the Mediterranean. The companies’ right to operate and manage the concession was signed earlier this week on 1 October. They will now develop and operate the project submitted to Valencia Port Authority for a minimum period of 35 years.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/331229/image/large-4e1695846313bf69f20dab3003726572.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/331229">The project includes three separate marinas - Marina Norte, Marina Sur and Marina City - and will renovate the entire site, breathing new life into it. The new Marina Valencia licence-holder is set to restore the “previous life and spirit” of the area, which once hosted the America’s cup, according to IPM Group.The renovation will see the facility be separated into four individual areas the first of which will consist of three marinas in the centre of the city for yachts between eight and 130-metres in length. The second section will comprise the construction of a refit and repair yard housing specialist companies.&nbsp;Moreover, the third section will include a leisure, dining, and entertainment area that merges with the locale, ensuring the marina is a popular venue for local, national, and international visitors. Lastly, the fourth section will feature an architecturally aesthetic area offering sea views, offices, and retail units, which will also be paired with parking spaces, bike lanes, jogging tracks, terraces, and landscaped gardens.&nbsp;“However, the project doesn’t just involve the revamp of the marina, but also includes the development of fascinating social, nautical, environmental and sporting proposals that will be rolled out as the whole project takes shape,” IPM group explains.&nbsp;

The Dutch shipyard, Heesen, unveiled two new projects today, on the first day of the Monaco Yacht show.&nbsp;<img src="/uploads/store/photo/14064/image/large-93a275534cdf7bff8caa3a021751b12a.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/14064"> The first project is a new collaboration with the British design studio, Winch Design, on the interiors and exteriors of Avanti, a new 66-metre motoryacht. With the sculptural surfaces of the concept reflecting both the sky and ocean, her design will achieve a muscular and contemporary appearance.&nbsp;By incorporating a raised pilothouse, Avanti is given a sporty profile. On board, the owner’s cabin offers panoramic views, overlooking the relaxation area on the foredeck. Avanti’s contemporary interior offers a full beam main deck with panoramic windows.&nbsp;The 66-metre motoryacht also features an infinity pool measuring five metres, and a large tender garage under the foredeck to accommodate a limousine tender and rescue boat. Various customisable cabin options are available, and the lower deck offers a full spa option, with gym, Hammam and sauna.&nbsp;The owner’s stateroom connects to a private sky lounge aft, opening up to an exterior dining table. Guests are also provided with a relaxation area fitted with Jacuzzi and bar on the sundeck, which is connected to the other three decks via a glass elevator. With lounges across two levels, Avanti also features interior and exterior dining spaces for up to 12 guests.<img src="/uploads/store/photo/14065/image/large-a025d7cbfd00618002b960cdfd1407f7.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/14065"> The second project revealed by Heesen is Project Maximus: a new 83m concept from the France-based designer, Clifford Denn. Project Maximus is a long, low, sleek and narrow vessel ideally suited for Heesen’s new ‘shed’, which can house up to 83m LOA.&nbsp;Inspired by Denn’s experience designing commercial passenger vessels for Cunard (QM2), P&amp;O and Viking Ocean Cruise vessels, where the wheelhouse is located forward and under the passenger decks, this striking yacht puts the owner experience at the fore. Central to the design is the full use of the private exterior deck for both owner and guest. The exterior deck stretches across an unprecedented full length of the boat.An almost vertical bow enables an extended waterline length, allowing the crash bulkhead to move forward and gaining interior space and volume. This frees up further exterior space at the stern of the vessel for a large pool area, waterfall features and a large bathing platform. Wide stairs link all external decks, and a covered external lounge and dining area is located just forward of the pool on the main deck<img src="/uploads/store/photo/14066/image/large-a6498d8a471bf31e46167777bb09bbfe.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/14066"> &nbsp;Providing good wind protection for all aft decks and top-end hydrodynamic performance, Maximus can accommodate up to five guests, and can be configured as two VIP suites and one guest suite, by opening linking doors, in addition to a stunning owner’s suite.“When compared with other boats of its size it has an enormous pool, huge external deck areas, and all with the same internal volumes as a normal 83m,” says Denn. “It’s large boat thinking that puts the owner’s needs first.”
