She is known for her distinct aggressive military appearance, which is the handy work of designer Espen Oeino. Marco Zanini designed her interior spaces, which were kept as simplistic as possible; following her functional military-like nature. Since her launch, Skat has been kept in pristine condition and has an excellent maintenance and refit history. She had recently completed an intense period of maintenance works at the Dutch shipyard Royal Huisman’s refit division where her onboard systems were serviced, teak decking replaced and hull and superstructure repainted.She is currently moored in Antigua’s Falmouth Harbour, where the 54th Antigua Charter Show kicks off today and will continue until 10th December. France-based builder <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/416" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Ocea (Company)">OCEA</a> has announced that the fourth hull in the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/416" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Ocea (Company)">OCEA</a> Commuter 108 yacht series is nearing completion. Produced by UK-based Insensys, the system is based on three rotating carbon fibre masts capable of deploying up to 2,396 square-metres of sail.
