70m Damen Yachting support yacht Game Changer emerges from 8-month refit

After having been sold in January this year, the 2017-built Damen Yachting Yacht Support Vessel, Game Changer has now completed an intensive shipyard period at Damen Yachting’s facility in Gorinchem where the vessel has undergone major modifications to its working deck area.Photo: Kees TornGame Changer is now fitted with an extended internal area located on the tender deck that has been built aft of the ship’s command tower. The new modification increases the interior guest areas on board without sacrificing valuable deck storage space which is still accessible above the new structure.

Game Changer’s impressive helicopter receiving capabilities has been unaffected and a large commercial landing pad at the stern of the ship can accommodate and stow a number of long-range helicopters.Photo: Aurelian Herman & Kees TornThe vessel was recently seen heading out on sea trials and is expected to be handed over to her new owner once trials and outfitting are completed.

Currently under construction in Damen Yachting's Yacht Support Vessel range is the new 45.6-metre YSV 4508 that is available for a 2019 delivery.
