Readers from Auckland have reported that Superyacht Weta, a 74.6 metre superyacht, has left the city, and has made her way to Ship Repair in Whangarei, the main centre of Northland, New Zealand. The project was started at Marco Yachts in Chile, but her unfinished hull was towed all the way from chile to New Zealand in 2011.
It appears that the yacht's owner, a well known Kiwi, will now have the yacht, which is designed by Michael Leach Design, finished in Whangarei. If you have more information about this project, please email us at [email protected].
