The 85-metre superyacht O’Ptasia is for sale. At the time of her launch in 2018, O’Ptasia was the largest superyacht in the Golden Yachts fleet and is now the second largest in operation only behind the 95-metre superyacht O’Pari.Photo: Jeff BrownO’Ptasia features both an interior and exterior design by Rome-based designer and long-time collaborator of Golden Yachts, Studio Vafiadis. Her design brief emphasised the guest experience, with the intention for her to be put into the charter market, one which has been very successful.Across her five decks, O’Ptasia is home to many standout features including her touch-and-go helipad, swimming pool and her especially notable beach club. Termed as the ‘beach house’ by her build team, the beach club can be accessed via two staircases from the main deck or directly from the main saloon. In addition to a massive swim platform, guests can make use of her extensive store of toys as well as her private hammam and massage centre. Here, a bar and covered lounge area are also found. Tender storage on board the Golden Yachts yacht for sale is found amidships, keeping her beach area clear of any traffic.Photo: Jeff BrownPhoto: Jeff BrownInside the 2,342 GT motor yacht for sale, she can accommodate up-to 22 guests across ten staterooms, including two master suites. She is operated by a crew of 26.Her interior is finished in a variety of fine materials including woods such as lati, eucalyptus and veneered-platano as well as mother of pearl, onyx and marble. A warm colour palette is used throughout. One of O’Ptasia’s invisible features is the level of silence on board. Her engineers priortised silence on board and used a variety of solutions to do so. In addition to a dampening system that prevents noise and vibration from carrying throughout the yacht, her massive volume has allowed for staterooms and common spaces to be situated far from her engines.Photo: Jeff BrownPhoto: Jeff BrownPerformance-wise, O’Ptasia can reach a top speed of 17 knots and a cruising speed of 14 knots. She is outfitted with twin Caterpillar 3516C diesel engines.
