Early this morning, Lürssen launched the completed hull and superstructure of its latest 90-metre superyacht Project 1601 in Rendsburg in Northern Germany designed by Espen Øino with the build project overseen by Cornelsen & Partner. With no official details released by the yard yet, the project remains shrouded in mystery but shares recognisable design cues from some of the builder’s most iconic yachts such as Skat’s signature panoramic sky lounge, blended with new features such as a piercing bow shape. The yacht will now undergo outfitting until she is ready to be officially launched in 2021.
