The A88 GranSport yacht concept by Officina Armare

Milan-based studio Officina Armare has revealed a new 27-metre yacht concept that combines “a sleek, modern and sporty design with excessive power”. The A88 GranSport, which would be built entirely out of fibreglass, would be equipped with twin 2,600 hp MTU 16 V 2000 M94 diesel engines with Arneson surface drives that would power the 120 GT vessel to an impressive speed of up to 40 knots. Carbon fibre spoilers on either side of the vessel equipped with lights complete her sporty look. The first master suite stretches across the full beam and features a sit-down shower, king-sized bed, lounging area and large windows running along both sides of the room. The second master suite is located forward of the yacht, while the twin cabins - one of which will be convertible into a double suite - would be located amidship.Officina Armare yacht project A88 GranSportPhoto: Officina ArmareIn addition, the layout can be customised to allow for two or three guest cabins, in addition to a twin crew cabin. With regards to the decor, the owner is free to style the interior according to their individual tastes.

Outdoors, guests will be able to make use of a spacious leather sofa located on the aft deck or soak up the sun on the sun pads. Alfresco dining can be enjoyed on the aft deck or the foredeck, which will feature a more intimate dining area suitable for eight as well as two sun pads with a bimini cover for heightened privacy. Meanwhile, a new Besenzoni anchoring system hidden behind a flush-fitting hatch in the bow with an extending arm will simplify anchoring and be operable from the helm station.Officina Armare yacht project A88 GranSportPhoto: Officina Armare
