AB Yachts first 37m AB120 motor yacht launched

AB Yachts has announced the launch of the first 36.8-metre AB120 motor yacht. The AB120 yacht is described by the Italy-based shipyard as “a distillation of technology and innovative materials, state-of-the-art construction techniques, a sporty character, and pure sensuality.”AB120 yacht launchPhoto: AB YachtsThe AB120 has been designed in full by AB Yachts and reflects Next Yacht Group’s new strategic path to transform its entire product range using state-of-the-art technologies and unique solutions. AB120 yacht exterior designThe AB120 boasts a functional volume of 220 GT with a large extendable aft area that spans up to 100 square-metres creating a huge beach terrace. The beach club also flawlessly integrates with the aft cockpit and her main saloon sliding doors to connect the indoor and outdoor areas.

AB Yachts has made great use of glass onboard this latest model with more than 500 square-foot of glazing in the main saloon, providing guests with an abundance of natural light and undisturbed panoramic views.

Some of the yacht's stand-out features include a convertible gym room, a custom-built bar, and an open-air cinema on the flybridge. 

The AB120 can accommodate up to ten guests in four spacious staterooms on the lower deck, alongside a double-height ceiling saloon for guests to relax together. Her dedicated crew quarters can sleep up to six crew members in three ensuite cabins.AB120 yacht exterior designThe AB120 yacht packs a punch and is expected to travel at speeds in excess of 45 knots, without compromising comfort or stability. She also has a shallow draft of around 1.35-metres, allowing her access to some of the most exclusive ports and harbours, as well as making her Caribbean and Bahamas-friendly.
