The first renderings of Abeking & Rasmussen's latest new-build project sold in 2016, the 68-metre yacht Soaring, have been revealed ahead of the new superyacht's planned launch in the new year. The hull and superstructure were joined in October 2018 at the German shipyard following the hull launch in Poland. The project, codenamed Project 6506, will measure 1,450 GT with a beam of 11.6-metres. Up to 12 guests will be able to stay overnight onboard Soaring, which is built to Lloyd's Class specifications and will be powered by twin 2,029hp MTU 12V4000M engines. Once delivered, she will be available for charter with Ocean Independence.
