Imperial has secured the build contract of the new 77-metre motor yacht project Blue Marlin which will be built by Admiral at the Italian Sea Group outside La Spezia, Italy. Drawn by Sinot Yacht Architecture and Design, Imperial will act as owner’s representative and build supervisor during the construction period which will culminate in a 2023 delivery.Photo: The Italian Sea Group
Blue Marlin’s exterior design is defined by a dynamic yet elegant profile with bold features that will make her instantly recognisable. Some of the highlights on board include a six-metre pool, fully-equipped dive area, private spa and helipad. “Blue Marlin’s distinguished exterior exudes both excitement and refinement. Her look is defined by a prepossessing sheer line, flowing gracefully from bow to stern in a ribbon-like movement. The exterior as a whole emanates a blend of both dynamism and motion, whilst maintaining elegance,” says Paul Costerus, Partner at Sinot Yacht Architecture and Design & lead designer for project Blue Marlin.
Inside, six cabins are spread out over three decks, with a full-beam master suite on the main deck forward, a special VIP suite on the bridge deck with an adjacent full-beam living area as well as four additional guest cabins on the lower deck.
One of the most exciting features on board will be Blue Marlin’s sophisticated diesel-electric propulsion system, explains Imperial Director, Julia Stewart: “We are proud to improve the trend with the remarkable Project BLUE MARLIN, with Admiral as shipyard and the disruptive Sinot Yacht Architecture and Design teams alongside us to give life to a cutting-edge superyacht of a new generation.”
“With the remarkable reputation of Imperial and Sinot Design we are sure to achieve the best possible results for client’s satisfaction,” says Giuseppe Taranto, The Italian Sea Group - Admiral Vice Chairman.
