Aegean Yacht unveils plans for 73 metre classic gulet

Aegean Yacht, the Bodrum based shipyard well known for building steel gulets and motor yachts, announced plans for a 73 metre classic gulet, the Aegean 240 G. Construction is on plan for 2010.

Powered by twin Caterpillar engines, the steel hulled superyacht will be built to RINA rules and cruise at a maximum speed of 13 knots. The Aegean 240 G will have a beam of 12 meters and a draft of 4.40 meters.

When launched, the Aegean 240 G will be among the world’s largest sailing yachts.
