Alex Pirard Design’s new MY 215 concept

Spanish yacht design studio Alex Pirard have unveiled their latest creation, the MY 215. The 65 metre concept is designed as a high performance yacht that makes use of the platform’s sleek and uninterrupted lines to focus on large and open exterior areas. With a beam of 11.3 metres and propelled by KaMeWa waterjets driven by three MTU engines, the MY 215 will reach a top speed of 30 knots.

It is from the upper deck where guests can access both forward and aft exterior areas, through the walk around deck layout. A hydraulically raised bimini forward of the cockpit provides shelter for guests wanting to relax in private. The aft facing deck offers a lounge area, perfect for enjoying the views whilst underway, with low bulwarks presenting spectacular views from this vantage point.

On the main deck aft below, Pirard has incorporated the already long overhang, which accommodates the two exhaust outlets, with an extendable hard-top awning made from a carbon fibre structure and glass paneling. This makes it possible to enjoy time outside on the aft deck at any time of the day, irrespective of the yacht’s heading when at anchor.

Inside, the MY 215 is designed to offer accommodation for 12 in a luxurious owner’s suite with two folding terraces, and 5 spacious guest staterooms. The layout, décor and interior features are entirely customizable according to Pirard. The yacht will be manned by a company of 12 crew.
