American brokerage firm Allied Marine reported the sale of Sophye, a 33.5-metre Astondoa Century 110 superyacht. Bill Shewbridge represented the buyer and Pedro Barbosa represented the seller as part of an in-house deal. Built at the Astondoa yard in Santa Pola, Spain, in 2016 Sophye's semi-displacement hull is constructed from GRP and is built to Germanischer Lloyd AG classification. Sporting a naval architecture and exterior designed in-house, the superyacht also features an interior from the studios of Cristiano Gatto.
Able to welcome 10 overnight guests, Sophye has five guest suites including a full beam master located forward on the main deck, and two double and two twin rooms on the lower deck. Furthermore, each stateroom has an en-suite bathroom.
Powered by two MTU 16V 2000 M84 engines, this Century 110 is able to reach a top speed of 24 knots and a comfortable cruising speed of 20 knots.
