The sale of another Amels 180 was finalised during the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show this autumn, highlighting the continuing success of the Dutch yard’s Limited Edition range. The 55-metre superyacht is due to be delivered to its new owner in summer 2019.
The owner created the superyacht’s bespoke colour scheme in collaboration with exterior designer Tim Heywood and the Amels design team, which features a blue hull and grey superstructure. The custom interiors were developed by California-based design studio Bonesteel Trout Hall. Able to accommodate up to 12 guests, key features on board of the Amels 180 include the spacious 180 square-metre sun deck, the main deck owners suite with folding balcony and the wide bridge deck sky lounge.“The owner was looking for proven ocean-going performance so he and his family can enjoy destinations around the world. We can’t wait to see this custom Amels 180 cruising in the beautiful Exumas or across to the Pacific just like her sister ships do,” commented Rutger Dolk, Amels commercial team.
The owner and his family have been very involved in the custom exterior and interior design,” Rutger added. “Creating such a bespoke yachting experience while still offering delivery in less than a year is a great compliment to our design and project teams and demonstrates how well our Limited Editions approach works.”The next available Amels 180 is now under construction and scheduled for delivery for summer 2020.
