Currently being fitted into the third 60-metre Amels 200 superyacht is the custom interior from Luxury Projects which, until now, has been kept under wraps. The latest renderings from Laura Pomponi and her team at Luxury Projects show a decor of natural woods, contrasting leather and fabric with glossy metal finishes and bronze profile detailing. Photo: AmelsDue to be delivered in the spring of 2021, the Amels 200 is also the work of exterior designer Tim Heywood, who has described his work as being "inspired by nature".Photo: AmelsPhoto: AmelsPhoto: Amels"The sweeping profile lines are enhanced by the twists in the surfaces, which give her an enriched and interesting form with light and shade effects on each deck level," adds Heywood.
Making the most of her 1015 GT, the designers have incorporated six stateroom suites into the interior layout. The whole side of the full-beam main deck owner's suite will be able to fold open to create a 12-square-metre balcony. Plus, guests are to be given a VIP suite on the bridge deck connected to each of the four decks via an onboard elevator.
To reach a top speed of 15.5 knots and to reduce emissions, the new superyacht is to be fitted with hybrid electrical power technology.
