A new 62.4-metre Amels 206 from the Dutch shipyard’s Limited Edition range has been sold. The owner, from the Asia-Pacific region, will take delivery of the speculation superyacht from the Amels shipyard during the spring of 2020 and plans to cruise around the world. The 1,131 GT yacht will be the latest delivery of Tim Heywood’s avant-garde exterior design and will feature a light grey hull and white superstructure. The interior design is the result of a collaboration between Laura Sessa and the Amels interior design team. In the master suite, the owner will be able to enjoy signature round windows and will be able to be accompanied by up to 11 additional guests. Other onboard features include two VIP suites on the bridge deck, the swim platform and garage for up to two eight-metre tenders.
“The Amels 206 is a proven performer and a real head-turner,” says Amels and Damen Managing Director Rose Damen. “She is a beautiful yacht with striking curves. We’re proud to be completing this yacht for our client and can’t wait to see her on her maiden voyage next year.”
