Amels and Damen Yachting have just announced the sale of the third Amels 200 Limited Edition motor yacht, scheduled for delivery in early 2024. The 60-metre Limited Editions design is an evolution of the builders Amels 188, and features signature exterior design from Tim Heywood. Though she shares the lines, volume and hybrid propulsion power with her predecessor, the superyacht features a slightly elongated hull. Tim Heywood commented, “The additional length of the Amels 200 enhances the overall elegance and sophistication of my design, both inside and out. The larger windows create a lighter atmosphere to the interior, which is very welcoming."
The yacht will accommodate 12 guests as well as 12 crew members. The owner has chosen Winch Design as the interior designers of this new superyacht. The design firm has already worked with Amels and Damen Yachting on other models of the Amels Limited Edition range, though this will be their first Amels 200.
Jim Dixon, Director of Yachts & Aviation at Winch commented on this latest collaboration; “The sale of this third hull in Amels’ 200 range marks yet another collaboration between Damen Yachting and Winch Design, and follows a brilliant team effort by all those involved so far. It is a rare but special privilege to have worked on so many projects over the years with such an esteemed yard and we look forward to bringing our collective experience together again for this latest 60-metre yacht.”
The first two of this Amels 200 motor yacht range have already been launched this year, and are set to be delivered in the coming months. Each of these yachts features a four-deck design, with a gym on the sundeck, a large aft deck with swim platform and floor-to-ceiling windows in the owners suite.
