During more than a quarter-century of fine yacht building Amels has delivered about 30 fully custom super yachts to designs by the world’s top talents. In keeping with the demand for shortening delivery time, Amels has introduced the highly successful Limited Editions series of semi-custom yachts, now including the 52-metre Amels 171 and 64.7-metre Amels 212.

Naturally, a shipyard that can build the finest yachts—and win many prestigious international awards doing so—can also rebuild such yachts to an equally high standard. The Amels Refit & Repair Department has completed work on some 50 yachts with a total length more than 2,600 metres. Half of those were built by other major shipyards, proof of Amels' global recognition among yacht owners, captains, and their agents, and a clear sign of the respect Amels has earned in the industry.

With its long hands-on experience, Amels Repair & Refit Department can perform full alteration or refurbishment of any large yacht—power or sail—on time and on budget, as exemplified by its most recently completed work on two Feadships, Rio Rita and Strangelove (ex: Paris).

The next Amels Refit & Repair slot is available March 2007.
