Amels has today announced the sale of a new Amels Limited Editions 242 superyacht. Announced the day before the Monaco Yacht Show 2018 opens its doors, she measures 74-metres and follows the delivery of the third 242, Universe, in July. Featuring a Tim Heywood exterior, Merle Wood & Associates represented the buyer in the deal.
“This yacht will once again show a different character to any of our previous Amels Limited Editions deliveries,” comments Rutger Dolk, part of the Amels commercial team. “The ability to adapt the proven platform to the client’s wishes is why our Limited Editions approach is working so well. The extremely comfortable and quiet platform with a renowned level of quality and combined with a fast delivery creates a very attractive proposition."
The first of the Limited Editions 242’s, Plvs Ultra, hit the water in 2016, after Amels announced the new model in late 2013. The next available Amels 242, the yard states, is ready to be customised and lined up for delivery mid-2020.
