Once the charter concludes, the yacht's pleasure certificate is reinstated without requiring conversion to full commercial registration.<a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/8923" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Virgin Islands Shipping & Maritime Authority (Company)">VISMA</a> also stated that owners are no longer required to leave European Union waters to complete new import or export formalities when switching between private and charter use.&nbsp;Under the programme, yachts may operate on either basis during the 18-month Temporary Admission period without further customs formalities, provided the relevant conditions are met. For non-VAT-paid yachts, charters can currently only commence in Greek, Monaco or French waters. Yacht Solutions Europe’s statement of affairs also revealed that an estimated £608,522 will end up being unpaid.Steve Henson, Managing Director at Devon’s Castle Hill Insolvency, has been appointed joint-liquidator.
