Built by Dutch shipyard Amels in 2001, the 52-metre superyacht Kiss the Sky features both exterior and interior design from the drawing boards of Terence Disdale Design. Undertaking an extensive refit in 2009, her interior was completely refreshed by the team at Patrick Knowles Designs.

Built for an experienced owner and launched by the German shipyard <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/1075" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Lloyd Werft (Company)">Lloyd Werft</a>, the flagship project was designed by Australian industrial designer, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/4739" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Marc Newson Ltd (Company)">Marc Newson</a>. <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/6847" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Solaris139.7m (458'4&quot;)Lloyd Werft2021">Solaris</a> is one of the largest vessels to have touched the water in 2021 and features over 2,000 square-metres of glass, culminating in the largest panes ever used in the luxury yachting industry. Symbolising a new era of naval architecture, innovation and superyacht design, she has a total volume of 11,247 GT, which is more than twice the size of <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/1075" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Lloyd Werft (Company)">Lloyd Werft</a>’s 2010-built, 115-metre and 5,655 GT superyacht <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/1752" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Luna115.0m (377'4&quot;)Lloyd Werft2010">Luna</a>.
