The Amels motor yacht Deniki in Colombo

She is the first of her kind as unit number one of Amels’ 171 range of Limited Edition superyachts launched back in 2007. She set the tone for what would arguably become the most successful semi-custom superyacht fleet of all time by the Dutch yard. Designer Tim Heywood is the original hand behind the iconic shape of the various ranges that today has grown to 272 feet in length over a decade later, with new models designed by Espen Øino recently introduced into the lineup.

Lying beside her is the 93-metre supply barge Mahaweli. Revolution Fuel arranged a special fuel delivery to Deniki seven miles off the Sri Lankan coast, as port restrictions prohibited the yacht from entering Colombo to refuel. This procedure allowed Deniki to continue her circumnavigation as she returned to the Mediterranean after exploring some of the remotest parts of our oceans.
