Amico & Co unveils a new logo and look

The Italian refit and repair shipyard Amico & Co has revealed their new restyled company logo. The logo comes after a period of renewal within the company which has seen several significant investments in facilities at their premises in Genoa, doubling the receptive turnover of the brand.

The new logo emphasises the Amico family name in a simple but effective design. Chairman of Amico & Co, Alberto Amico, comments, “Our new logo looks clear and consistent, absolutely in line with our company’s mission.”

The logo marks the starting point for the new ad concept ‘Remade in Italy’, an apt description of Amico & Co’s work that consistently breathes new life into the yachts that come to their facilities. The new advertising campaign is created by Meloria, and features a classical Italian sculpture inspired statue in need of renovation. The company state, “This image shows the blend of artisan expertise and engineering, craft and technology that is behind all these improvement works, carried out daily by Amico & Co over the last 24 years.”

Amico & Co are also featured in a compelling article within the recently published second quarterly edition of the SuperYacht Times newspaper, in which SYT interview President of the company Luigi Alberto Amico. Amico reveals current and future projects currently being undertaken in Genoa, as well as describes how the team at Amico & Co consistently deliver high quality refit and repair services to its vast array of clients.
