Last June, the very famous vintage yacht Haida G (ex Rosenkavalier) made a stop in Amico & Co for some refit and maintenance works.
Haida G was built in 1929 by Krupp Germania Werft and nowadays is managed by Ocean Independence, which choose Amico & Co for some specialized maintenance jobs before starting a new busy summer season.
71mt length, Haida G was hauled in the Amico & Co covered dry-dock to execute some maintenance works such as hull and superstructure painting, side boarding ladders refit, external furnishing, generators overhaul and the installation of some brand new SAT-NAV antennas and much more in just 40 days !
In the same month Amico & Co launched Shamrock V, a J Class dated 1930 commissioned by Sir Thomas Lipton to take part in his very last challenge at America’s Cup.
In the meantime the new technical marina is going to be ultimated, and once finished it would be possible to accommodate up to 23 large yachts during refit works.
