Following the successful conversion of the 54 metre offshore support vessel Advantage in New Zealand last year, comes another offer from Ocean Independence on the same platform. The crew transport vessel Transit has been serving offshore platforms in the eastern Mediterranean from her Cyprus base and is now ready to sail alongside a superyacht mothership carrying watersport toys, provisions and crew in support.
Advantage is a good example of the capabilities of these seaworthy and tested vessels. She sailed away from Whangerei-based Oceania Marine capable of carrying a submarine, 40’ and 34’ tenders and two 20’ inflatable RIBS. She is also capable of accommodating a helicopter once her deck has been cleared of the water craft.
Transit is currently on offer through Ocean Independence at an asking price of EUR 8,500,000.
